Growing up on the west side of O’ahu, I left Hawai’i, and 20 years ago landed on Germany’s shores and made the island Berlin my home.
On my journey I learned the art of ukulele playing which kept me connected to home, as well as the true meaning of Aloha.
In 2004, my sons met Una and Sabine at the Hardrock Cafe Berlin, at a concert of the hawaiian slack key guitarist Makana.
2 years later they found the hula studio in Tempelhof and soon thereafter brought me there.
I love to share with everyone the beautiful stories and music of my hawaiian islands through both modern and traditional songs and dance.
